I went to the movies tonight
"Godzilla x Kong: the New Empire"
at the State Theatre Hutchinson...last showing was tonight.
.
Fun Fact: there have been 38 Godzilla movies since 1930s.
.
Spoiler alert: if you don't want to know how ridiculous this movie was, just scroll past.

.
.
In this one, there are two Godzilla's (a good one and a bad one) and two King Kong's (a good one and a bad one), the bad one is named Scarface, ...lol. So, in the final battle scene, good King Kong is riding good Godzilla...and Scarface-Kong is riding Bad-Zilla.
There is a Inner earth, then uncharted Realm #1, then uncharted Realm #2. Realm #2 has some portals to earth's surface...the fighting starts in #2 then they all go through a portal and come out in Rio de Janeiro...they totally destroy the place during the fighting...it was awesome.

I chipped a few gunflints this evening, wasn't motivated to do much else, then I noticed the damned thistles have taken off down in the area where all my "good" juniper trees died of thirst last year and the sun is now hitting the otherwise mostly lifeless dirt for the first time in decades. Broke my hoe handle on the second one, but it was still long enough to swing one-handed. Hacked down most of the big ones and all I could see on the ground as it got dark. Filled the water trough again, deer and evaporation are consuming about 50-60 gallons a week among 8-10 and an occasional group of axis passing through.

hauled horse poop yesterday, we got in three trailer loads and i flat out hit a wall.
me and Littlegirl went to the grocery store and picked up some nice steaks out of the discount section for lunch.
i musta needed some protein because i felt about 200% better after the first one, and double that after the second one.
i ain't ate that much meat in a whole week lately, but i sure felt a lot better.

made a vain attempt at shooting some 9mm rounds before the storms rolled in today.
that went about as good as if i'd been throwing boulders, my hands and fore arms are too knackered out from all the shovel work i've been doing the last week or so, and the pressure drop surely didn't help my knuckles any.
but i still managed to kill the crap out of that dirt berm like nobody's business.

Finally the last of this years seedling are in 3 inch pots Total amount of plants is 112, majority assorted Tomato & Chili and pepper plants Which have been outside harding off except for tonight which they came in because of the 26 deg predicted low!
Basil and parsley seedling were the last to get potted up today and they stayed under the lights!
Except for a few more cold nights coming up Days have been sunny and near mid 70's
Looks like a good start to the planting season.
One new "LED grow light observance: ; Basil and parsley did not do great under the LED lights

Fiddled with this new to me Ruger Precision Rifle.

Loaded some 85 7/30 Waters with the Node Load I found with 748 and a 120 NBT @ 2660 fps.

Then started some state required firearms registrations... after finishing up some Probate paperwork and unemployment requests for taxes amendment for last year. What a head ache!! I wish I knew her pass word... I had to almost give blood of first male child to get wifes 1099's!! Now I have ta wait 14 days for there legal dept to OK and release what I requested. Grrrr

Tree guys just left. Had 4 trees felled. All were too close to the house for me to tackle. Wasn't cheap, but they did a great job and did a little extra that I paid for and a little extra that was "no charge". They cut most limbs and branches over 2 inches dia. into 4 to 6 ft. lengths; under 2 inch dia. they chipped. Most of the bigger stuff is piled next to the log splitter I bought from Rick. Son comes home from college in a couple of weeks. He and I will be buckin' and splittin' oak for weeks.
Always good when dropping trees does not result in on of those YouTube vids that goes viral.

Update:
It's been about a month since I got the new cell phone (Galaxy A15). Switching from Apple to Samsung was a smart decision for me. I did like the iphone, but that Dang apple didn't like to play well with the competition's email/photo editor/and a couple other things I like to use. Also, I find it much easier to control the amount of data used (using Tracfone, I buy Data by the gig)...samsung makes it easy to close apps as well as their data saving mode...the iPhone always seemed to surprise me and use up all the Data at least convenient moments.

I went to Grants Pass to my doctor yesterday.
He gave me a steroid shot in my right wrist.
Too many years grasping the dozer blade control ball.
I then took my granddaughter out to breakfast.
She wanted me to plant some carrots for her, so she gave me a packet of seeds.
I picked up a couple of small hanging baskets and two 6 packs of wave petunias to plant in them.
I still have enough seed potatoes to plant 2 more hills.
hauled horse poop yesterday,
I got a big trailer load of fresh horse manure from a friend.
Never again.
I have never seen so many new weeds that came in it.

It's been a while, but I think I recall something about horse manure having to be thoroughly composted because a horses gut doesn't kill the seeds.

Not much! Getting our first rain since March 2nd and suppose to get up to 1/10". Money falling from the sky, so I think I will read and take a nap.

Watered the bermuda seed, helped plant some stuff for her. Closed an account that charges 12$/mo fee, under min. Got a new hot plate, old one died! Calibrating it now. Pretty wide temp swing, may need to hook the PID to it. Weather guessers maybe wrong about Fri rain, looks more like Sat.
Edit: Used the new H.P. to WD the 145PB I cast. Turned out quite hard so alloy does have Sb.
