I have a very old Redfield 1x-4x scope that is currently not attached to any of my rifles. Its clarity is AWESOME, and it is a really nice instrument. It is likely 40-50 years old. The curious part of its make-up......it is all-metric. The reticle adjustments are (as best I can tell by firing at 50 and 100 yards) about 10mm at 100 meters. It has sat in my scope box for a few years, and I believe it will go atop my CZ-550 in 9.3 x 62 Mauser--all metric, all the time. The CZ has a Leup 2x-7x on it that I bought for a hunt in Alberta in 2005, a nice glass sight in its own right.
