confused is HF black abrasive are ALL blacks?

read CB site have used smokes green, blue and purple lot of work cause I have a star I can use instead. But do any or all PC costing cause barrel polish or wear?

just reading and ended up on a old post about wear in pistol barrels but i have only used smokes and then was green and blue and orange I think no black

I have some Harbor Freight black. It is a flat finish and doesn't shake & bake or cover well. I have used it to powder coat other items and it worked reasonably well with the powder coat gun and the part grounded. I don't know if it is abrasive or not, it just didn't work out for bullet applications for me.
