the Powder Coat Store

I didn't see any restrictions on reporting "bad" dealings, so I thought I'd report my experience with the Powder Coat Store, in Weatherford, Tx.
I ordered three "sample" size colors from them on the 20th. Total cost was under $50.
They emailed a shipping notice on the 21st.
There has been no status change since then. I tried to call, but they are not receiving calls, and the recording said to use email for questions.
I emailed them yesterday morning to try to get an update. Crickets.
Nothing today, either.
Luckily for me, I used paypal, so I contacted them, and they are providing me a refund.

Take that for what it's worth, but I also saw a couple of reviews on the BBB complaining about no delivery, no response.... guess I should have researched them before I bought.

Maybe Smoke has the colors I want now.... I'll check his site out again...

Let the buyer beware....

I hope it wasn't just unreal expectations on my part, but to go that long without shipping, and then to go incommunicado was just somewhat un-nerving. Then to read the bad reviews expressing the same thing I was experiencing...?
Granted, it wasn't a lot of money, but at least, let me know something. If you hit a delay, no problem.... but let your customer know.

Shoot, I could have driven over there and back in less than 3 hours.

I dont begrudge your decision. I detest bad service. No communication is just as bad.

Smokes is known good powder. Much to be had knowing what your buying worked as you i tend to use it.

Yes... I've bought from Smoke recently.... I just didn't see the colors I wanted the last time I looked.... maybe he has them in now.

He is definitely a "known" quantity... good product, fast shipping, all around good guy.

Update.... my order from the Powdercoat Store arrived today.... I have contacted them to get their paypal address so I can re-send them the money for this order.
I suppose I will know in the event of future orders that they will likely be slow in shipping, with little to no communication.
But they did fulfil the order, so that is good.
