The Marines were real short on drones and Hellfires in WW2!
Helped daughter paint her room, again, yesterday. Got some wood too and actually went for a short walk in the woods, surveying fencing repairs needed. Some of this fencing has been here since at least the 1960's, if not before I'm told. It's a mess. Also looked over the line fence where the new stuff is going this year, lots of chainsaw work to be done. Daughter also got 3 new rabbits given to her, one a registered flop eared breed of some sort. She's happy with more bunnies. If there was big bucks in rabbit grooming the girl would have a bright future. Angoras, Lion Heads, Jersey Woolies...I can't keep track of them all. She sure loves them.
I'm sort of lined up to take another backhoe off my neighbors hands. A late 50's/early 60's Case gas job. It runs and works okay, just not what anyone else wants to mess with being gas, 2WD and ugly, even for cheap $$$. Gotta find a loader bucket for it, but think I have a candidate. My other backhoe is a crawler and I'm waiting on things drying out to get it up on blocks, crawl under it, drop a skid pan with probably 800lbs of oil soaked dirt in it to access at least one burst hose thats probably been there since 1961. Get it fixed and between it and the other one, with a little training of my son and we can put a real hurt on some ditching and rock projects.
Missed a stock for neighbor mentioned aboves shotgun. An old JC Higgins 12 ga bolt gun that the previous owner abused. Gotta remember the time difference between Ebay time and my time!
Mom comes home from a visit to her sisters today. Better clean the joint up!
