Yup,,shoots well around 1000,step on it,and the little rascal,cant handle it.I don't " hot rod " the Lee 105 gr. SWC.
Maybe that is why I'm not seeing wild flyers.

nope; that's not it, Average 947 ft/s, I never run magnum loads because on paper they are wast of time, unless a person wants to look cool. Lyman's Cast Bullet #4 , their best load for a 357 magnum is Acc#5, 12.2, with velocity of 1651 fps. Only shot 600 rounds with the 105, so far.its because you are blowing the base out with the flyers
Only problem is that there so light weight,it takes more powder,to make the action work,then your at 1000 fps,or more.I believe I have one of these molds. Dad had quite a few various lighter weight .38 bullets all cast up which since I am mainly a revolver shooter, I stick to the 150ish ones, but have recently been messing with a High Point 9mm carbine. I woner how this would work in a long barrel?
