New (to me) method of PC bore riders.

Saw this somewhere else. Put some warm water in a dish. Just enough to cover the drive bands on said bullet. Sift some PC on top of the water. Hold bullet by the nose and dip it into the water. Pull it out and set on wax paper to dry. The PC will stick to the bullet. Bake as normal. Might be a good method to try to keep from getting the nose too big.

Works great on bullets with driving bands and tight throated rifles.

Like my Ruger 1S in 9.3x74. 260 NOE.

In the picture by Slim i would worry about imbalance being imposed by an uneven top edge. But those pictured by Waco there is a uniform coverage adjustment from start to full coverage.
More learned here by accident than by intent.

The imbalance ? you are kidding right ? Have you ever weighed a pinch of PC powder ? The PC I use is the same I shake and bake with.

I tried that with HF red a few years ago, ended up with wet powder in the bottom of the dish and none on the boolits. Don't remember if I used hot water though. What temp was the water Waco?
