Wadcutter Casting Day

My grandson, Trevor is going through a lot of 38 Special now.
Today turned out to be " Wadcutter Casting Day " for me.
I used an Ohaus , 140 gr. 2 cavity, mould.
The wadcutters drop from the mould at .3585 ".
I'm sizing to .3575 "

Looks good Ben. What is your alloy preference for wc's?

Keep at it, Ben. Trevor needs waaay more.

Face it, a Magma Mark 8 is what you'll need by 16.

I need to buy me a good Wadcutter mold. There’s just something neat about them to me. I keep getting outbid on eBay.

I am still loading some old swaged Speer Wadcutters I bought a long time ago. I prefer one with a crimp groove on top.

The Lee 6 cavity is miles ahead of their 2 cavity designs.
That would be a wise decision, in my opinion.
