Bro left out Gunshows!!!!!!!!

While best solution is good, I would alter to say, take a tattooed prostitute you met at a yard sale to a gun show, buy her a gun, and then go sit in the yard around a fire pit and drink bourbon (from KY!).

Well shoot! Used the spreadsheet to plan a batch of alloy, counted out the 100 lbs of range lead muffins into the pot, weighed the lino and pewter and got it melted. Poured off into the angle iron molds and then stamped the projected tin and antimony percentages with steel stamps. As I was cleaning up, I spotted the babbitt puck that was supposed to be in the mix. Guess I'll melt it back down tomorrow.

prostitute is fine just not a tattooed one.. got it.

I got a few things going.
I can't plant anything outside until mid-june at the soonest, our last hard cold frost was june 28-29-30 last year.
I had most everything covered but a lot of it still took a pretty hard hit.
I'm wondering if we will be getting any plants in the hardware stores this year too.

anyway I do have some stuff going out there right now, yesterday I picked all the Onions that weren't going to go to seed to make room for a couple of other plants.
most of it is stuff that should be coming around mid-june so I can harvest and over plant for the fall.
and I will be starting stuff like the Bell Peppers in a couple of weeks and some more winter squash plants as soon as I pick up some more 1.5 or 2 Gal containers.

I got the final Box built today but need to pick up some corner braces and dirt [of course more dirt] to get it ready for the plastic cover that will go on in May.
no rush on the dirt I have to wait for the ice I built the box on to melt so I can level the box before filling it.
I tried to head out shooting a few times today but it kept snowing or hailing or raining and I just gave up and decided I might as well get something done.
so I done the in-out-in-out thing all afternoon and finally finished the box up right at dark.

SMAC,
What the heck is that green stuff your dog is laying on? I seem to recall something similar around here, but it's been like 7 months!
It's really thawing here the last couple days. My north field where I run my dogs is partly shaded from the angle of the hill into the field (North exposure), and the snow really stacked up there this winter. The dogs (and me) have some tough walking to get where the sun can hit and melt the snow, but temps have been above freezing and rain the last couple days. The snow there is concrete in the morning and like a snow cone in the afternoon. The whole field drains to my pond and it filled up from runoff the last couple days. Cash usually puts the run on the birds in the Willows around the pond, but figured out today runoff water is a tad cold! He got soaked and was shaking off all the way back to the house. He's quite a character to watch, with everything being new to a young dog like him.
Got the material to make the top for the wifes picnic table top today, and she painted the base today (and her hands). Got the walls done around the shower insert and fitting base tomorrow. Should be able to get the top made and put on tomorrow. Of course the top will be a different color, so she'll be painting it too. She still wants to keep the old table but I told her it was going in the wood stove tomorrow, where it should have been to start with!
Got the last of the 360-160-WFN Hp's sized tonight. Should get the Star cranking this week, depending on the "Honey Do List". Won't be long the Peepers will be out serenading at night.
Haven't heard of anyone dropping a snomo or wheeler through the ice yet, but should be pretty soon. Still a few folks crazy enough to try catching Crappie on receding ice. Happens every year.

Made fresh scones first thing yesterday morning. Fiddled around on the laptop. Went out in the shed and serviced my 036 and sharpened the chain. Then finally got my aching back out and cut up the red elm I dropped before the rain. Happily the chain cuts were straight but the chips are not real big. I need to cut back the rakers, (actually depth gauges), again, from the looks of that chain, I've done it once already. Blocked up, split, and stacked up that wood. Drained out all of the rinsed maple syrup jugs so I can let them air dry and put them away. Lastly, took off the fabric from two portable ice shanties ad stuffed them in screw top 8 gallon buckets for mouse proof storage until next December.
Too windy yesterday to do any meaningful 22 ammo testing. Northerly winds averaging 14 mph and the testing I wanted to do was at the 210 yard rail.

Man You guys are planting tomatoes already? I'm still growing the seedlings under lights in my basement
Cindy planted her tomato plants, over the weekend. Yesterday, she finished bringing her perennials out of the garage. ICF garage doesn't get below 50* over the winter. I store all my wine (13 cases), in the garage, during the winter months.

Bro got rid of his 22 Heritage years ago (bought when we were in school), asked me if I wanted some green bullets - nope. Other Bro got rid of his rusty 357 snub. Mine get enough use not to rust.

Maybe I was unclear?
I put tomato seeds into a Flat,
NOT putting plants from a flat into the garden.
In my area of southern MN, I've learned to transplant pepper and tomato plants into the Garden no earlier than May 15, I usually start watching the weather forecast about that time, sometimes I'll wait until June 1 for transplanting.

Today, I am thinking about putting in some Onion sets and Spring Garlic (AKA: leftover Garlic cloves ) into the Garden.
Also, I may plant some cold weather seeds into the garden, like spinach, radish, beets.

I can't even go that far yet.
we are supposed to have a low of like 10* tonight or tomorrow.

now I'm starting to get a bit worried about us being able to get pre-started plants.
there are a few that are just a whole lot easier for me to buy and up plant and wait to get in the ground, than to start from seed.

I swear to go if I have to trade some 9mm ammo for a plant I'm shooting someone just on principle.

Went to the local Sams this morning during "old folks hour". They had everything we needed except beans and rice. A few packs of Paper towels and toilet paper that were not our brands, but they had some and we bought a pack of each. Probably be sold out by this afternoon.
Weird, at 7:30, only about 10 cars at each signal light where there are usually 100.
Rally,
I really like Veral's 160 gr. WFN.
All his WFN are super accurate in every handgun I have tried them in. Didn't know he made a HP version or did you have someone HP it for you?

thinking about the same thing as Popper, except the Lee 230 is a T/L design.
that nose and front Band sure look the same though.

Not gonna happen Rick.

Hawk,
My moulds are both NOE. I've got the 360-160 WFN and the 360-180-WFN, both in RG4 versions. Love the bullets and my rifles seem to prefer the Dimple points, but I cast a few HP's soft, for up close carry ammo.

Went out back and pulled the SD card from the the camera on the food plot. Deer are still making use of it, mostly during the night. With all the rain and warmer temperatures it is making a recovery from being over browsed the entire Fall and Winter.
