170s in the 300 BLK?

GCd, I'm old and rickity. Can't say there was a difference between the BLL or PC, FOR CGd. Next time I'll zero @ 100 get some scope dope, don't really know where it's at. SST looks right on but cast is crazy. Ballistics says 5-600 fps difference to get that trajectory. I did put some unknown junk on the target, just to get used to the new stock.

All in all though they are all on paper and in a good group so it really doesn’t matter i shoot for fun and if I sweated not shooting little bitty holes in paper I’d never shoot a day in my life, I have good days, bad days, and really good or bad days. I just like to shoot. Cast makes it so much easier snd fun. You don’t have to spend a whole lot to try another bullet out. For what a box of jacketed bullets cost now you can pick up a new mold and go for it.

I’ve got a couple hundred of the Lee 309-170s coated and waiting on my slow tail to bump the charge up and retest then I’m going to shoot a group or two or 3 at 50 and see what they do without a check. Also going to put a group of those 230s down at 50 and see what that made out of as well.
