It's been awhile. I loaded up 50 rounds tonight to go out shooting with a youngster from work this Sunday.
This load does well jammed .010" into the lands.
Starline brass, fire formed, necks turned, all brass prep, CCI SRM primers, 41.0gr H4350, Hor 140gr ELD-M

My 6.5 CM RPR loves:D ELD M 140's. Looks like you turned the necks as well, very good pics.

I use a Forster Ultra Micrometer seat die and my runout is under .003”-.0035”

Am I the only one old enough here to use Vickerman seating dies.
I was turned on to them in the 60s by my mentor and they are still using them.

Yes sir. This is small rifle primer Starline brass. I did as much case prep as possible.
Johnny’s Reloading Bench has some good 6.5CM loading and shooting videos. Did a couple just on primers, large and small pocket differences, what worked and what didn’t.

It's the cream of the cream in line seater with a drop in window for the bullet that allows some silly tight tolerances for the neck , bullet dia and zero or very close to zero run out .

Thanks! I guess I have seen them before. Never owned or used one though.

It looks like a new company has taken over the manufacture of them since I got mine.
Check them out here.

So they won't work for our over size cast bullets then?
