Made this for my brother a few years ago for his 8 bore Greener rifle.
Ross Seyfried gave my tips on the machining.
Custom mould are a bargain.
45-70 for scale.

How much does that beast weight cast from whatever mix you are using ?

Really good work! Looks like you used a couple of different form tools and lathe-bored it using your dials as your eyes.

I asked my brother, he couldn’t find it in his notes, probably north of 1000grns.
I used a dial indicator in an old Sheldon lathe the best I could.
O1 tool steel tools I ground and hardened.
2nd mould was a 20 bore, I got it off center of blocks.

What fun getting bullets out of blocks.
