A couple of cleaning aids

All my rifle barrels are threaded for suppressor. A standard 1/2 in garden hose fits perfectly over the threads (and works very well as a highly practical but ugly thread protector). I made an adapter for a plastic soda bottle, which fits at the muzzle. No more dirty patches and cleaning oil on the floor- and much less aerosols of spray- based cleaning products. When the bottle is full, just keep the adapter and find a new bottle.
In the photo, you can also see one of my chamber guides; chopped- off case, and a snug fitting pipe. Works very well.

My chamber guides look exactly the same. The bottle is or does, definitely makes sense too.

Just ordered a cpl of these from Amazon, hope they work better at,NOT leaking than the admittedly very cheap, squeeze bottles we use now(look like restaurant ketchup bottles)..... that when you tip them, they leak around the threads. Very annoying. Screenshot_20190915-124136_Gallery.jpg

They were 1$ each from chinamart Ian..... past due for throwing the heck out. Will say however, have laquer thinner in one and acetone in the other and they held up very well to the chemistry..... just too cheap overall. Hopefully the new ones are a little better quality?

They get used a LOT.....
