A good general purpose bullet for my 38/357 Mag. revolvers.
125 gr. with a nice wide meplat out front.
When I use it in the 38 Spec. or 357 mag., I seat the bullet so that the front drive band is totally in the case and put a very mild crimp on the case just to insure smooth chambering. The bullets drop just shy of .359 with my alloy.
Coming from an Accurate , 4 cavity mould really helps production.
I have now had about 2-3 months to cast with the mould and test it
in my Ruger # 1, 357 Max. with mild loads, many of my 38 specials and 357 magnums.
It just plain works !
Fiver suggested that I try it in my 9 mm, Smith Model 59. A great suggestion Fiver !
Very accurate and cycles 100%. I size to .3575 " for the Model 59.
Possibly not the " Ideal " perfect 38/357 cast bullet.
However, it works well for me.
