Pa had a law, probably still does with big fines if you got caught leaning a gun on or laying a gun on
a vehicle. Believe it was based on the number of accidents resulting from loaded weapons
falling and discharging, and wounding or killing some one. It made sense to me. Opening day
of deer season in Pa is a shooting gallery. Hunted it once, on opening day, never again.
They probably ought to have a law against sitting on the muzzle of a shotgun as well.
