Finally got it running good. It took a tremendous amount of adjusting testing and more adjusting. She runs like a top now and really casts a pile of boolits in short order.

That is VERY cool! Thanks for posting. :)

If you don't mind, what did you pay for it with a burnt out motor and whatever else
messed up or missing stuff it originally had?

Runs like a top. I have heard of this kind of a automated caster,
but never saw one, let alone saw one operating.

First time I've seen such a machine in action. THANK YOU! I understand that getting to that "smooth operation" we saw on video took a lot of hours of adjustment, measurement, more adjustment, and FINALLY success.

There is a commercial bullet casting & powder coating operation about ¼ mile down the road from me. I bought some bullets from him once and got to see his operation while everything was running. I don't know if he uses the same casting machines but he has 3 and they look very similar. His molten lead pot must be bigger because he refills with fairly large commercial ingots handled with an overhead hoist.

He powder coats in a concrete mixer. I didn't pay much attention to his oven but I think it is continuous.

Looking at his website, he must cater to the competition crowd. Pistol bullets are all he sells. Apparently he ships by USPS. My postal carrier serves him too and there are usually several boxes in the back of his truck when he makes it to my mailbox.

All this to explain why I will buy from him(or somebody similar) if I need more than I can cast. This will only happen if sons and grandsons start shooting more than they do now.
