Not sure about Clay Dot, but Clays is a good clean burning powder but
builds pressure FAST in .45 ACP. It is not possible to make full power
loads with Clays under a 230 bullet and stay inside of the SAAMI pressure
limits. Works OK for 200 SWC, but I prefer Titegroup, not so small an amount
of powder between normal and overpressure. Keep them mild and it should
be a good powder. Is it as clean as Clays?
I use my Clays for .38 Spl only.
