I don't have it in my possession yet so it maybe junk. But it's coming with 2 sets of handles so being out $7 for shipping I think I will be ok even if the mould isn't any good .
Based on searches for an Ideal 358432 I should be getting a 140 or 160 gr full wad cutter intended to seat out of the case about .1 or so .
This brings me great joy as I load a 9mm that will probably feed such a beast and there is 147 data so a 140 gr SWC would be amazing. The 2nd option is for a 38 special of the same vintage as the mould and of course a 357 should I find it to be a 160 gr .
The downside is that I've never loaded any wad cutters in anything. The exposed nose should make this easier for seating and crimps as needed .
Seems like I read somewhere that wad cutters ought to be 7-800 fps (IE 38s in 357 brass ) and that they aren't great over 50 yd .
So any direct experience with this mould ? Any load advice for 38/200, 9mm ,38 or 357 . Red Dot and Unique are mostly what's on hand .
(I have 5-6 manuals including the Lyman CBH ) I can extrapolate something to work I'm sure.
