Nice video finds, Bill. The local channels are ketv7, kmtv3, & wowt6.

I haven't seen all those areas, but have been offering heavy discounts for water cleanup from Valley through Omaha, & all the way down to Plattsmouth. Pretty much out of drying equipment, very much work ahead. Fixing a few special uninsured losses, at less than half price,, the one we will salvage over 250k in property, the owner was nearly in tears. Gotten a number of I love you replies from various flood victims. Going to drop off a commercial pump to the city up there for free rent as long as they need it. Trying to help as many as we can with what we have.

Did some work on the base there last week before the big one hit. Looks like uncle Sam will need way more than just our help there. But like so many Americans do, we try to help.

My wife and I did Red Cross volunteering for two years, after 9-11, but quit when the local chapter began taking advantage of our time. I think the idea behind the organization is good, but it can, and has been, very political. We saw a lot of waste of donated goods and supplies, as well as people not in need taking advantage of the offerings at the expense of those who desperately needed them.

Thats the way of a bureaucracy and anything "free".
