this fall i hope to buy a cz 527 in 7.62x39. basically, i think, there will a come a time when i can't shoot big bores. i had a stroke about 6 years ago and it left me with my right arm/leg only about 20% good. i have killed many, many deer with my old m94 in thrutty thrutty. she's been retired but i still have her. anyway.......i have been using cast boolits for about 5 years. and every boolit is a flat nose design(wfn, lfn, fn). i was wondering if i would take a medium weight(150-170gr) round nose and 10 lead/1 tin, would this be ok for close cover(50 yards and less, but i'll say 150 yards and less) deer? or should i go flat nose?
