i run a lyman [dpms-2] also, it's been pretty trouble free over the years.
i keep it unplugged when i'm not using it and give it the full warmup time.
probably shouldn't be turning it upside down and shaking like i do from time to time.

My RCBS Chargemaster is fast, repeatable, and accurate. It has been for like fifteen years now.
It’s a bummer your RCBS quite working Jon. Hope you can resolve your problem.
Mine has been trouble-free for a lot longer than that. However, replaced the 110V adaptor cord a couple of years ago. About $7 for a generic, off Amazon.

If I had to replace the Chargemaster, I would do so with the Lite version for about half the cost. Don't need the 30+ memories.

I dont think they make the Lite version anymore.

I just ordered the ChargeMaster Link. My first foray into the electronic dispensers

As a full fledged skeptic and Luddite, I don't put inordinate trust in electronic devices. Yes, they are convenient, but that convenience comes at a price (not necessarily $$ either). As for powder measures, my Lyman #55, pistol and Lee Disc measures work very well IF you keep a record of their settings. I don't mean to be a grump about this, but that's how I roll.

The main advantage of electronic powder measures is no more trickling with stick powders. They digest everything. I've had the RCBS Chargemaster, pretty much, since they were introduced. I trust it but check it against a beam scale, anyways.

I got t up and running last night really late. It is way more quite than the other one. I ran a couple of powders through it to test. It has a neat feature that you run a test of each type of powder you use. Then you can save it. But it runs through about 5 different speeds to calculate how much powder is dropping for each speed. It is doing this that way to be able to run it really fast and stop and trickle the last few tenths of the grain it is set at.

MAN this thing is the most clingy static charged thing I have ever seen. I had to use the air compressor to get some of the powder stuck everywhere on it.

It also checks in exactly with two other scales. But we will see once I actually use it.
