I have a large quantity of checks that I will be selling. Alot of them I have made myself. I am talking boxes that are 3"X5"X2.5" full. Rather than counting all of them. What would be a convenient method of dividing them up to sell? I was thinking of dividing them by the cup full. Kevin

If you have a good digital scale that you have used in your reloading hobby. I would count 10 of a caliber, weigh it, multiply that weight by 100, then start weighing out that weight (qty:1000) and bagging them. Do that for each caliber. It really doesn't take that long.

I'd weigh several lots of ten, average the lots for a base. You could use ten 'checks as your base of divide the weight of ten BY ten, but either way, you'd have a pretty accurate way of "counting" them without counting them.
