I just spoke with Veral Smith by phone. He says he is doing very well except for macular degeneration, but he can see pretty good at a distance. He hopes to be producing bullet lube in a month or so. He’s 82 years old now but not ready to just quit. I hope to do as well when, and if, I reach that age . Harles

I'm glad to hear it. While I don't know him, and haven't ordered anything from him yet, I was pretty saddened to learn of his misfortune.

I have never tried his lube.
Quick Question, does it melt?
and what is the approximate 'melt to liquid' temp

IIRC, the commercial lube (which I've not seen offered for years) was developed so that suppliers could ship lubed bullets and have them arrive with lube still in place. It requires a heater on the lube-sizer. Not sure what the melting temp is, but it does melt--reminds me more of a wax than a grease, but not a hard wax like some other commercial offerings.
