Lined doors also

Lol, I got one of those doors free. I bought some pure from a scrap yard & the fella tried to sell it to me at a discount but I declined. It had mucho wood cemented to it, didn't wanna pay for that or the headache of removing it. He gave it to me. I cut it down into chunks so I could burn the wood off.

I'm thinking that may be exactly what it is Will. I called the buddy I thought dropped it off and he said he hadn't left it, unless I felt like paying something for it !! LOL
The other person who might have left it works at a hydraulic shop, and they had a big crane there last week when I drove by.

xray shielding lead is not pure, more like cable sheathing - to prevent cold flow. Maybe 1/2 to 1# Sb. I remember years ago pulling the lead top off a handbag security xray machine - took 6 of us to lift it. And watch your fingers. A tek guy was to reposition the shielding around the oil cooling tank of a machine, showed me the Geiger reading - he had to use the lead apron and gloves. He was really ticked, manufacturing error and he'd been demo-ing it for several months to customers.
