Finally found a load that prints at the top of the front sight at 10 yards. Everything before this liked to hit high.
Load is the Accurate 35-120L sized .358 after powder coating. I used mixed brass, CCI SP primers, and 5 gr of Power Pistol. OAL is 1.072”.

The elevation problems are largely shooter related.

The indoor range, Athena Arms in Bellevue NE, said thy are busy as ever. Out of 9mm and 223 ammo, lots of “corona virus panic” sales.
I decided it was the right thing todo and supported a local business. The relaxation was a bonus.

No, drive might be 12 minutes?
Once it warms I will get to the outdoor range. That is more like 30 minutes.

Nice work, Brad.

I took the wife down there a few weeks back. First time since they opened. It was short barrel shotgun / ninja indoor range day & I hadn't got the memo.

I just don't care for indoor public ranges. Between the sbs 2 lanes down, the young airmen hitting the ceiling, walls, & everything but the paper target, & charged me for time I spent waiting it is highly unlikely we will go back.

The old movie theater one on 84 was the same. Had to wait 15min while they kicked out some ninjas that had a couple safety warnings. They charged me for waiting. Not doing that again. Extra coat & the gun club sounds way better.

That is the new mould. Will try to get another 1-2 K cast this weekend. Forecast is for rain Sat so might as well be productive

That is the same kind of thing I was working on with the wife's 38 S&W Her CC rounds shoot on the sights but are a bit to hot to shoot for target work at any length....so i'm trying many different loads and bullet combos to get close to that POI!
And now they closed our ranges I'm going to have to put this on hold

mine still shoots behind the dot on the front sight.
you'd think the 130 at like 850 fps would throw them some high.

Brad the group looks great. I have a CZ 75 that I may try the load in. I would be tickled if it shot that good.

OK! Fine shooting right there.

My CZ-75B happens to be in 40 S&W. It was love at first sight picture/shot, and it is without doubt the most accurate 40 S&W I have ever fired--jacketed or cast. It is VERY cast-friendly, perhaps owing to its 1-16" rifling twist rate (a rarity in OEM 40 S&W barrels).
