Just skimming the batch off 500. Pathetic.

When Sierra was still in Santa Fe Springs, I used to buy a lot of seconds in 22 and 30 calibers. None of those showed that sort of variation.

I was never a fan of Sierra bullets for hunting big game, always seemed a bit fragile to me.....but.....I could always count on them for accuracy and used them almost exclusively for prairie dog, woodchuck, & coyote in my 223Rem's. Glad I still have a thousand or so 55gr. BTSP's left. There is no excuse for that

Back then in the 80's Their Hollow Point 75 Gr boatail spitzers in a 243 Winchester were pure dynamite on Eastern whitetails! A chest shot meant they went in, blew up and never ruined the meat on the opposite side! Just turned the lungs to jelly. Close shot or long shot ( But up here 150 yds is a long shot) Fragile in a good way!

at like 500$ American money per bullet now-days,, damn right.
I'd be sending them a very detailed phone call, and not discussing it with the first person that answers the phone either.

their jackets doubled in price in under a month, you'd think the first 30% increase would have been enough, but no,, two more quickly followed.

anything with a R that's stylized seems to automatically add a couple of numbers to the tag.
I'm still pissed at what they done when they took over the Charles Daley line of rifles, and what they done with AAC etc. should go down as criminal acts.

Sierra bullets haven't featured highly in my reloading efforts for close to 20 years. Nosler gets a lot of attention, and now Barnes gets in the mix for Condor Cuddling.

Thats disappointing to see.

I havent been using allot of jacketed bullets here for some time. But Sierra Pro Hunters have always been a stabile here. I never have tried these "game changers" but by the looks of yours Id say that they are appropriately named. I surely wont be buying any!

They have always been a good company in years past hopefully they still will stand behind this crap they have produced.
