One of the reasons I buy local when I can, even if it costs me an extra buck.
Does not matter the shipping company. While waiting for a delivery,I have nightmares resembling the old Samsonite adds.

Fella's, I was speaking of a LETTER, A LETTER!!!! Still no word about where it might be and I was assured I MIGHT get my money back, or part of my money back. Now if someone stole the letter and cashed the M.O. I'm probably out of luck.

we made it page-2 and are still talking about the post office.
pretty sure that alone is a record for here, nothing to get all worked up about.
kind of surprised we haven't moved on to greyhound trips or seeing the grand canyon by now.

:embarrassed:Sorry, read the original post. But by the time I got down so far, I was riding the train right off the track along with the rest.

I've grown to dislike MO's of late. Reason is I can deposit a check from my phone, but have to take MO's to the bank to deposit them.

Gary,
Don't feel alone. I had a letter stick to the bottom of a box, that instead of going to NH ended up in a small town in WY. Problem was it was a check to one of my suppliers, who gives 2% discount for net in 10 days. You would think letters and boxes would be kept separate, but I've watched boxes I shipped be dropped in one of those roll around bins many times, right on top of letters.

I can get a cashier's check from my credit union faster and cheaper than I can a uspsmo. The po is a 45 minute round trip from work and counting standing in line with all the other people on their lunch break being waited on by the one employee who is manning the counter while the other four take their break, it's an hour and a half plus about $8 in fuel and I don't get to eat. There's a small post office much closer (really just a private business that has postal supplies and will ship packages but doesn't do mo's) so I can at least mail stuff easily. If someone won't take a personal check or pay pal from me, I just don't need it that bad.

Yeah the ol Mustang . Same kind of a business as the PO when it doesn't go according to plan .

Gotta ship stuff some way or other .
