Interesting Saeco mold

I’ve removed the gas check shank by drilling on a Lee mold.

I had a plan and it worked.

I currently have an old style Lee two cavity disassembled (yes, I have removed the u-joint needle bearing pins). I will be milling off the top of this mold. This should make a decent 32acp bullet. I have a plan and it should be successful. Not every thing works out.

I hope that the man who “destroyed” that four cavity mold ended up with a good core for swaging up bullets for his 375 H&H.

Or, he was just an jerk who shouldn’t have been allowed near a drill press.

Lee moulds make for interesting and usually productive projects.

Careful, there is not a lot of meat to mill off without finding the top of the hole that pin fits into. But you have probably already done the measuring.
