Lite and Heavy 9MM bullets

freebullet, have you tried the 122 TC? There is very little full diam outside the case. But, if
it is chamber diameter....that won't help. Seems like the RN designs have a long piece of full
diameter bullet forward of the case mouth, I can see that causing problems. If necessary,
this could be seated a touch deeper, too.

9mm pistols are just cranky. The only cast bullet that gets along well with all of the four 9mms on staff here is the Lee 122 TC, seated as I listed above with .020" of front drive band "Above The Rim" (it is still basketball season, I think) and a light hint of a taper crimp.

Yes, Al, the only other one that I have shot much of is the Lee 105 SWC, kinda like a mini-H&G 68
but with a crimp groove. IME, this one works well, too, but I have only used it in a couple of
my 9mms. I have not tried it across the board, and today I have maybe 8 or 9 of them, all will
run fine on the 122 TC, so that is pretty much it for me today.

Yes, Bill I have that one. Have run 10-15k of them. I just don't use them as bandaids for feed/throat issues. I like to make them take nearly any ammo whenever possible.

Wonder if Paul's new mold showed up.

Well, that certainly DOES look like an H&G #68 that got shrunk in the wash. Do you seat it with the front drive band's front edge flush with the case mouth--or about halfway down the front drive band--or at the trailing edge of the front drive band?
