LOADDATA

Question: Is a subscription to Loaddata a actual manual or is it content downloaded off their website?

At large, whereabouts unknown.
When I tried it, it was just printable online access of loading data from old Handloader & Rifle magazines. I hope there's more to it now.

that's how I remember it too.
I decided to invest in already printed paper and save the 50$ ink cartridge for something else.

download and print. I get a free printer and toner - so it is a no brainer for me! I still have some manuals (mostly older ones for my older stuff). I really like Load data, and use it a lot. Lot for research and reference. Do like to check data against other knowns. But it is also easy to print out a few pages of confirmed data and put in a hole punch notebook for each caliber vs have to look at 5 manuals.

When I had a subscription, it was very good because you got data from lots of gun writers from the 1960's through the 1990's. Some loaded hot, some loaded for accuracy and some loaded historical loads. The newest cartridge I load for is the 1950's 358 Norma Magnum, so don't need much new data.

I keep it for all the old load data. And I KEEP getting "new" old stuff... like 30 Herrett and 357 Herrett and probably soon 22 K-Hornet! I have a LOT of old stuff! oh yeah, and working on getting a "new "32 Remington" Mdl 14 Pump!

Gary,
You might try phoning Rifle/Handloader, instead.

32 Special data is full interchange for 32 Rem .
For a Lee 323-175 (maybe it's the 170) 2R , plain based , I was 3.0 under jacketed start , the deep seating etc , for the "correct" 170 gr .321 bullet with IMR 4350 and was exceeding the jacketed maximum load speeds with nominal groups .

That RM14 gave me a true grasp of the looooonng gravely trigger .

Ben Amonte at Alliant was very helpful in locating data in the Lyman #25 I think for Unique also . The Speer #12 under the Win Special data calls out that it is safe in the 32 Rem . PO Ackley also listed data for it . 8 mm jackets will raise pressures some depending on your rifle . Mine was extremely low mileage .

RB - I have 30-30 and 32 WS rifles and there is a ton of data for them. See a lot of 'can use 30-30 data for 32 WS - and everything supports that. And also see the 30-30W/30R, as well as 32 WS/32R interchangeable data. I aslo have a Mdl 141 in 35 Rem. I have seen the original hang tag that says RN bullets only and recommended factory, as the 14/141s are very finicky about COAL. Eventually I will reload some cast for the 35 Rem 141. And prob just start with cast (I have a mold for 32 rifle for the WS) if I end up with the 32 R.

Any load data you care to share (IM is fine) for the 32 Rem that has worked well for you would certainly be appreciated!
