I could get within 20' of them on a tractor with a Bushhog on it and they would just look at you. But if I stopped, they were gone.

We would shoot every Woodchuck we saw. I don't think we made a dent in the population!

Few things as satisfying as being snuggled down behind a trash can, with a stocking hat padding the forearm of the .222, when the wood chuck, coyote, or non native invasive predator steps out from behind the wood pile or casting shed and they do not see you.
