FOUND A ROUND BALL MOULD- OFFER PULLED

WTB steel .495 ish round ball mould. With spru plate attached.1 or 2 cavity. Or vintage plyer style.
Have to trade, tit for tat
Lyman 311284 single cavity This is the bore rider mould I bought from Josh that cast a little small. Worked great for PC. No longer have that rifle.

Cash purchase of round ball mould is an option, but will not sell the 311284 outright.

I might still have a Lyman, but as I recall it was casting a hair larger than that. If that will work, let me know and I'll see if I can turn it up.

Kinda hoping for .005 or .010 under .50.
I am wanting to PC these to a snug fit for a modern black powder rifle, over a fiber wad with a good tight barrel. Could go smaller, but not bigger then 50.
I do not believe I can make .50 work for what I want to do.
My current issue is that the mould I use for my Hawken casts at .505- .510 or so, Works great for the old Hawken. But will not work well with my CVA. I mash the ball while loading in the CVA and I get flyers.

No hurry, I was talking to you about it first so you are up to bat. No line cutters round here lol.

My inventory says I have two single-cavity .490s, but the only one I see is an aluminum (unmarked but Shiloh I think). If it helps, you're welcome to borrow it for a few weeks while you continue your search.

Well, was actually thinking ahead on this one.
Thanks for the offer, but it is going to be a while before I get at that project.
Was kinda hoping to buy or trade in to one, in the mean time.
Will keep you in mind if nothing pops up.
Thank you, again, Emmett

Yep. I just thought I would throw this trade offer out there since I no longer have the 06.
Next time I go 30 caliber I might be trying another type bullet with it any way. I got that mould to figure out the whole bore rider thing, using PC for fitment.. Now that I have I will probably go down another rabbit hole next time.
Figure if some one wants to try the bore rider, with PC give them the opportunity.

Any how it's not a pressing matter, just a kinda throw this out there let it set and see what pops up.

I thsi this mold in a HP abd its nose runs about .298/.300. PC makes it safely under .305 and fits my black outs well.

PC in a muzzle loader? I think I just urpped a little in my throat.
If it will make you feel any better its for a Stainless, Mosey Oak cammo, rubber stocked, inline, with Williams Glow sights, and a picatinny rail, just in case I decide to go with a Red Dot. :)
