I've a 8C #130 it throw 1 light , 1 heavy and 6 at 196 in 50/50 more or less . The 5.5 is light and a little under the sights . The 45-200 is more to the sights but drops at 205 ....... Appearently my 68' Unique having spent it life in the desert drops ......,light for energy or something like that hot batch maybe ..... I don't know but 3 different Chrony's gave me the same numbers so ........ My numbers will mean nothing to yours probably .

saeco makes one like that too, #30 airc.
some guns like them, some don't, most do though if you play with the oal some.

that's a good price for a nice 4 cavity mold, I think you done well.

At large, whereabouts unknown.
I was looking at that particular mould on ebay too, but I decided not to bid on it because I have that design somewhat bracketed with my H&G 68, and more particularly my Lyman 452460s. The H&G 130 pattern moulds have an excellent, well deserved reputation for accuracy, and I believe you will be well pleased with your.

RB , I have a keg of Unique from the early 60's and probably 20lb of the new stuff and don't really see much difference in the two . Mine has been in Middle Tennessee most of its life but the keg did spend 2 years at Edwards in the Mojave .

fiver, what sold me on this mold was getting the handles with it for that price , last used set I got cost me $35 for a lyman set . Handles are getting pricey as the molds .

yep.
for nutcracker types those appear to be in good shape.
lot of guys don't like them, but once you learn how to hook your pinky they ain't too bad to work with.

Ah, I miss Inyokern. A great range site nearby, where I spent many happy hours--and we can't forget Inyokern International Airport.

I almost said something dumb about Lyman #452488 when this subject first emerged, but uncharacteristically stifled myself until I had access to a better puter than Marie's cranky laptop. That thing would be a better target backer than digital device.......where was I? Oh, right--#452488. One of my first Lyman purchases in 19-ought-81 was a mould to make 45 ACP bullets with. The only thing Berman's had in that diameter was a #452484, a gas check 225 grain RN that looks a lot like #452374--but isn't. The gas check shank is superfluous for 45 ACP, but I bought some anyway. That got old in a hurry. I think the bullet design was meant for the 45 Win Mag. I soon acquired a "374", and the differing nose form was noticeable--i.e., the "374's" ogive radius is a lot longer. Somebody in later years wanted #484, and off it went.
