Marriage vows

That is too close to be funny. I have officiated at least 500 marriages. Quite a few want to massage the vows or even write their own. A common one is "As long as our love shall last". I tell them they need to find a Judge for a civil ceremony. In a Christian marriage, folks are asking God to bless the union and there are many, many such unions God would not bless with a mile long fork.
