Mojo dove decoy on/off switch (pre 2012) fails

As I was recovering our Mojos, I played a bit with one that didn't turn. The push shaft had snapped off near the actuator of the switch, so it would power on IF you played with getting the snapped off hollow shaft to fit down into the switch... Looking for a replacement. Unfortunately, Mojo only lists the round post 2012 switch... I wonder if I can cut a new mounting hole and install the new switch... Amazon has Mojo for 29.99 S&H unknown right now.

One thing that made me slightly happier about today is seeing a few groups of doves, 5-7 large, along the road...

just a switch should be just a switch.
dove decoy's aren't used in the rain all that much so I'd just wire in a new one in the most convenient place I could and run with it.

I was over at one of my Duck crazy sons house. In the evenings,we're either in his huge, spare bedroom....which his wife said he could have(she's young)...now reloading/fly tying /gear depot.

. OR

We're watching YouTube vids and stuffing our pie holes. It was this, while watching Duck hunting videos that I learned a trick. And it's right up my hillbilly alley. Some Duck boys were spraybombing 1/2 g plastic milk jugs, black. They were using store bought decoys, the milk jugs were an add-to.I was thinking Crow decoys, but a spraybombed (tan/gray)coke bottle could be used as add-ons to our dove decoys.

Good luck with the switch.
