Nice looking pistol.
So is this the "chopped and channeled" 1911, by that I mean that they sliced a bit out
of the frame at the mag well to fit the 9mm, and shortened all the bits to make it really
a 9mm sized 1911? The typical 1911 in 9mm has a spacer inside the mag to hold the
rounds fwd, but I think this one will not need it. I think I understand what they did, but
not entirely sure.
The cut down version would make the trigger reach shorted, great for smaller hands. I
assume that a regular 1911 magazine is too long front to back to fit the mag well, is this
correct? Perhaps the mag well is narrower, too.
