An excellent suggestion! You can also use wax bullets, or roll your own salt cartridges in almost any caliber.

Walnut shells and black pepper work well, too. Or just finish the holes out in the initials Victoria Regina and tell the other half you had been reading too much Arthur Conan Doyle.

Stay Smooth 20,but figure 30 minutes. It's 3-4$ a bag at sLowes or Homedespot...for the DW.It'll also work for the paneling, use liquid shoe polish for colour, and you did not hear it from me.

Trust me when I tell you , ya shoot 1 feral cat in the kitchen and you will never here the end of it . .........nobody would have ever noticed that little bitty 22 hole in the floor if it hadn't been tiled .

Isn't a 45 a little bit of overkill for a roach ?

My wife went after a "grey digger" (California ground squirrel) with a hatchet used for splitting kindling. I was not happy.

best advice I got is don't do it again.
but if your gonna, get some of those plastic pellets speer sells or make some gluelits hot glue bullets in your mold.
or just cut some 5/16 glue sticks and use your 30 carbine revolver with some winchester primers.

Sometimes they charge when wounded. You can't be too careful.

There's still an exit hole in the gable end siding from a little matter of differences I had with a racoon over her moving into my attic. I never fixed it, and my wife of course never let me live it down that I assumed Stinger hollow points wouldn't exit a 'coon's brain pan.

Reminds me of an old guy when I was a kid. He had a sheet of plywood half of which was painted white, and propped up against the side of his garage.
He would brush on a layer of sugar water and shoot flies with wax bullets out of a 38 Special. When there
were enough wax globs on the plywood with wings and legs sticking out, he would scrap them off with a
putty knife, hit the board with another coat of sugar water, and start over. He would sit in a lawn chair
about 15-20 ft back, drink his beer or what ever, and spend the afternoon at a cost of a box of primers.

KH, now THAT is funny!

I used to shoot flies off of dog piles with my Daisy BB gun when I was about 13. A BB just makes a fly disappear. After while the
trick was to disappear the fly, but not damage the "bait". Good practice in precision shooting.:D:rolleyes:

I have some wood bee loads with grits, it will take care of snakes at close range too. D A M N loud in the basement, don't ask. Nothing against snakes, just stay out side!

FYI a cut down .410 hull makes for a good 45 shot shell.
I would think long and hard about shooting salt down my barrel.
