Needed a Lyman HP pin

I do the same as Brad, flat spot on a flange. If a drill stop (from the Hillman hardware section) is used and the pin fitted to it, some degree of depth adjustment is possible.

I would love to have a shorter or longer pin for my 156 and 439 moulds, really wish I had a lathe.

Well, quit wishing and go buy one! Grizzly Industrial has some good benchtop 110vac ones for under a grand.

Problem is that I am about to go from a 20x40 loading, casting and wood working area to 12x12 for the same work.

Now that is a problem. I have 1/2 my garage filled with casting gear and machine tools. I am lucky to get the snowblower in that side of the garage.

What a shame. Sorry to hear you are having to downsize. Fortunately as I retired I UP-sized to a huge
3 car shop beside the house. But, not all situations permit this, I DO understand and have been there
before.
