I've read about these for a long time.
I decided it was time to try one.
Lee, 6 cavity, 9mm, 120 gr.
Mine drop at .3582, nice and round. ( I got lucky )
I size to .357".
I may shoot some in my 38 Special revolvers.

You can make a big pile of 9mm cast bullets with this mould quickly.

I really like my Lee 6 cavity 358 135 RF. Once it it up to temperature it really puts out a lot of bullets in a hurry. I haven't been as lucky with my 458 350 RD. I need a bigger ladle. Takes a lot of lead to fill those. I use it as a 4 cavity most of the time.

I have had good luck with the Lee 175 TC in my 40 S&W. Similar style bullet, only my mold is a two cavity.

OOPS!!! you are right, 125-RF (fat fingers or a fat head for not proof reading before posting.) Mine weigh in at about 128gr.

YAY! Just bought this mold. And Ben is gonna do my dirty work and tell me how it works! I love it!

PS: Ben - if you could load it in 38 Super and load test and tell me the results, that would be SUPER! lol!

I have just two Lee moulds both are 6 cavity, one is the 9mm 356-120-TC and the other is the big brother 452-230-TC. You hear Lee moulds and it's normally followed by some horror story but both mine have been good moulds. No complaints and the 6 cavity's make a pile of bullets in short order without weighing a ton.

And here I thought you swore off Lee moulds, Ben! They're a whole lot more consistent and predictable than they used to be.

I have 4 Lee 6 cavity molds for handguns and cast another for my son in law. 401-175TC for the son in laws 40 S&W, 452-200 swc, 452-200 rf, 452-230 TC, and 452-255 rf. All work great, and the pile grows fast.

You're right.
I think Lee realized that they had to " Get in or Get Out " of the mould business. As far as this particular mould goes, it looks like the decision was to " Get in ". A very nice mould.

In my experience, the 120 gr Truncated Cone [TC] 9mm bullet is by far, the best all-around cast bullet in 9mm.
Not only does that style bullet feed & function in most pistols, it also shoots very well.

I wandered around for a while before I realized that.

I didn't know that Lee made a 135 RF ?
There was a Lee custom by Ranch Dog for the 9 that is a 135gr RF, but it is a TL mold.
I had a plain base and a GC style mold.
I had some hopes for using the plain base one in 38 super, but my 1911 didn't like 'em.

The Lee autopistol designs with the truncated-cone form in 9mm, 40/10, and 45 ACP are IMO Lee's best mould design. Seat them all with about .020" of front drive band above the case mouth--set a nice taper crimp--and they run like water through every self-loader I have tried them in--even my bro-in-law's box-stock Colt Series 70 Gold Cup. It must have been a "Wednesday gun", 'cause it feeds the WWB 230 grain JHPs just as readily.

Ben,
Your bullets always look perfect. So smooth and shiny.
I can never get mine to look as good as yours!
