New Ruger PC40

Just got a. Email from Ruger. They have just released the PC9 in 40 SW, and another model with a free float hand guard w/ MLok slots. Also they have a page of new accessories. Wish they had skipped the 40 and gone to 45. Hand guard is pretty ugly!9042

.45 ACP with a nice walnut 10/22-looking stock, built for Glock magazines, would be fantastic. Looks like that will fit in most backpacks/BOB's, boat tool boxes, or under the seat, very handy and from what Ben has shown with the 9mm version, a very accurate, reliable platform.

Visually, it sure won't compete with their eye pleasing No. 1.

Like Brad & Ian said, if they make a .45 ACP, esp with a nice wood stock, I think I would have to
buy one. As much as I am not a Glock fan, I would want a common, double stack .45 ACP
mag, Glock, XD, S&W M&P 45 or similar would be fine with me. Whoever has the largest
capacity quality double stack would get my vote.

that would be Glock with the magazines, a true double stack. Grease-gun magazines are reliable but ungordly heavy. With Glock you have a huge selection of capacities, vey handy to put a short magazine in there for shooting from the bench or to keep in the rifle when stored or carrying. 26-round sticks are long and bang around on everything.

I'm noticing a distinct trend to make guns more ugly. I still want the 9 tho.

OK, so does anyone know somebody at Lipsey's or Lew Horton. Get
Ruger to make a batch of these beasts in .45 ACP that take Glock high cap mags
and with walnut stocks. I think it would sell enough for a big distributor
special order like they do with other oddball, non-catalog guns.
