New to me RCBS mold

Bought off eBay last week.

Was listed as a 45/300.
That should be a 458 GC. But owner says it’s a SWC? They didn’t make that that I remember. They did make a fine 300 .452 that’s what I was hoping this was. Guy did. It know what a GC gas check was. Pics where aweful and you couldn’t see to tell type on mold (surface rust too) nor is it was a GC. Profile was even hard as angle of pic. Guy wasn’t helpful but price was worth risk.

Turns out it IS a 45-300-FN. (458) Oh well. I do not have one but a good friend who gives cart blanch to use his does. So I guess I now have my own. :)

Anyone tried sizing this down to 454?

I’ll get it cleaned and cast some this weekend.

I size 50/50 alloy feom .458" to .448" in two steps for PP cores, also the Lee 457-340 to .4525" in two steps for my .45 Colt carbine. Could probably do it in one but I'd need a .451" die for that.
