I purchased an NOE .35 cal. , 2 cavity, gas check mould from Wasalmonslayer ( Max ).
The mould arrived this morning. Exactly as Max described it.
I cast with it this morning.
I'm 101% pleased with the mould.
The mould came with flat point pins, shallow and deep HP pins.

You can make a " pile " of HP's with this mould.

I have the solid version of this one and I agree its a dandy! Its a tad blunt for some 9mm but my revolvers love it!!

That's a dandy, Ben. The HP is big enough, walls thin enough, and outside versus inside taper angles correct for some serious expansion at low velocity.....i.e. .38 Special.

I give the life expectancy of the gas check shanks in the mould no more than 48 hours from now.

Ian,

You know me pretty well...........normally I'd say you're on target, but I ran into a great buy on a fairly large quantity of .35 cal. gas checks about 5 yrs. ago and figured this would be a great way to use them.

What a nice, little bullet!
Is the bullet fat enough to possibly work in your .358 win as well? Might make a fun plinker!

At .360" drop-out diameter, it could work well in one of my 38 S&Ws. Run at 800 FPS, that HP would definitely cause damage on any recipient, 2- or 4-legged. That little Colt Police Positive x 4" is such a delight--6 shots, too.

Well this is one of the 2 cavities I sold off just to replace with a 4 cavity hp. I like it.

I’m not sure if this is the same, mine is PB
My hope is for 9mm and 38’s and such. The new mold arrived right before departure to the lower 48, so it’s still a virgin.
I think you are going to like that mold.
