Colors are brilliant, but that's a face only a mother could love!
No offence to your pets.

My parents have about 40 that roam through the yard almost daily. They do not feed them, and they really become a nuisance. There's about 12 gobblers in the group...soon to be reduced in number.

April 15th is Spring Gobbler Season here. My lovely wife will not agree to harvesting "Our Friends"! This gang of 11 showed up in November 2018 at the opening of Fall rifle Turkey Season. I had a nice quiet 8 mm load ready in my GEW 98! I asked if I could get us Thanksgiving dinner?
She said is that anyway to treat your guests? She won that one!

The other problem is they have eaten 100 lbs of cracked corn in 2 months. The PA Game Commission frowns on shooting game in a feeding area!
I can't blame theM!

These big males are starting to gobble up a storm! They are soo loud I fear the neighbors will be talking ( "What is it with those Filipski's, First having a cat ranch and now a turkey farm!" )

when they eat corn they are much better tasting than a farm raised or a wild bird.
plucking them is a chore but worth the effort for the table.
