Part Needed

I have a m96 Swedish Mauser with the threaded muzzle .
Since I do not shoot wooden bullets I do not need a bullet shredder.
Am looking for a threaded cap to cover and protect the threads.
Anyone have one or know a good source for one?

"OK, OK, I'm going as fast as I don't want to go!"
I think the originals were just a snug piece of whitish plastic. I believe the threaded metal ones are after market.

Gun Parts Corp. aka Numerich, has the metal ones made for them.
I remember the "off Whitish" bakealite ones on a few 98's I looked at over the years. If I remember right there were also brown Bakalite ones. Benn a while since I was heavy into the surplus stuff, so a little fogie.
They were probably the originals, or at least an early aftermarket part.
If I remember right the "off white" ones, did not hold up well, they had a tendency to crack.

Ordered one from Gun Parts Corp.
Not worried about original as much as protecting threads.
Thanks for the info on availability.

My m96/38 came with a flash hider on the muzzle, not a bullet shredder.
