Powder measure reservoirs?

Ok, i picked a neat old Herter powder measure to add to my increasingly large and eclectic collection of old reloading tools. Like many, the clear plastic tubing reservoir is shot, split, discolored, warped, but, hey, the iron cap to it is still there which is usually missing.

Anybody have a source for plastic tubing of appropriate inside diameter and thickness for such things? I have a few other measures that could stand having theirs replaced too.

This one is somewhere between 1 1/4" and 1 1/2"ID. I'll look around on ebay when I get home. Does brass or copper tubing come in diameters like that?

FYI, my Herter's powder measure that I use for Rifle ammo, uses a 2" OD reservoir.

My original yellow reservoir has integral baffles also. I think that is an important feature, but it's probably powder style dependent for how important it is.
.
I think it'd be easy to make a baffle from popcan metal, or something similar.

I just recently came across a site which sells Pyrex hopper reservoirs, but didn't think about it long enough or hard enough to remember the name.

Wait,... HERE it is!:

Surely Herters had them made by one of the other companies. They make these for several brands, but I didn't see Herters.

I found some polycarbonate and brass just looking around on ebay that look about right. Just got home and it's late, but I'll take some good measurements tomorrow to be sure.

This is a Herters model 39 measure. I also have a model 40 around here which i think could use s better one too. Hopefully, i can get something to work well without too much trouble.

Would there be any problem making one from aluminum? Brass would be the obvious metal because it doesn't spark. Guess I'm dumb, but can aluminum spark? Any other problem I may be misssing?

Somewhere in my accumulation of Bair measures is one with an aluminum reservoir. Presumably factory, as the measure appears to be NIB.

Nope.

I've seen hoppers made of aluminum, but it was long ago and they were not the latest and greatest, when such things turned my head so I ignored them. I know I've seen aluminum hoppers, but cannot say who made them.

Surely, it would work, but I like seeing the powder level through the plastic.

Being able to see the powder level is a plus for sure, but I think I'd still be able to check it easily enough that it wouldn't be a big deal.

It's funny, Herters stuff all seems to be heavy and overbuilt. Most of this one, including the rather large and elaborate stand/mount is made of aluminum, as opposed to the cast iron most Herters stuff is made from.
