$1.49 at the Shell Station in North Dallas.
Sam's is usually $0.20 lower than that.

just watched them change the sign to 2.26 for regular gas about an hour and a half ago.
diesel dropped to 2.77.
I guess the Russians and the Saudi's are having an oil war.

if they drop it 1.25 here they will be paying you guy's in the Midwest and mid-south to take it.

heh no.
I could relate more but suffice it to say things have been pulled back drastically.
North Dakota still has some work, Texas has pulled everything back to San Antonio [can't believe they would close the new McCallum yard though, I was down there right before I left for Colorado my last week with the company, and it was so new the paint hadn't even dried yet]
Oklahoma is all pulled back to Duncan[even El Reno is closed] Colorado is all in Brighton, Wyoming is all in Rock Springs.
each of those camps covers not just their state but at least half of the one next to it.
even the smaller wildcat companies that have good leases have stopped looking for investors.

Is Bakersfield CA still pumping ? Probably can't afford to have them not running ...... Probably 1000-1500 wells there that a 24 hr pause in any one would cost 100k to restart .

pumping yes, but the Fracking there has been stagnant for 10 years.
even the off-shore stuff has slowed to a crawl.
I would imagine there is some acid pump type casing cleanouts from time to time.
the Big Red yard in Bakersfield went through an open-closed, opened-closed again cycle in like 0'6-0'7.
obamarama and the Bakken field opening, pretty much put them on a pump what you can cycle, hopefully this slows them down and lets things re-pool, allowing them to ramp up again when needed.

an an FYI did you know there are oil wells up in Beverly hills?
some of them are right in amongst the mansions kind of like the Bakersfield ones are under overpasses and in backyards.
only difference is the B-Hills ones are under wraps and have a noise ordinance on them.

Beverly Hills at one point was nothing but an oil field, not a house much less a mansion to be found. Started out as a promo by real estate speculator in an attempt to sell some land.

Looks like gas is down to $2.69 here, but that is a few days old info, so maybe lower by now. Heating fuel, #1 is down to $2. The delivery company's truck broke down and from then until now, 10 days, dropped 30 cents. Might ask them to wait another week.

I filled up the truck on Friday, it was $1.62
I checked the price of non-ethanol gas (92 octane), $2.14, So I brought all my 5 gallons cans in and filled 'em up. I'm set for the summer. I suppose the price will drop another 50%? but they could also close up a bunch of stations too ...it is, what it is... I want to be sure I got gas for the summer chores.
