Price of Gas!

It's funny ...it seems that the little Mom and Pop gas stations around me have lower prices then the big guys?

Here, every gallon of gas comes by truck, either 96 miles from the east or 150 miles from the west. The gas station on the corner buy gas by the truck and trailer load and pays "daily spot" plus cartage and pays the day delivered. The company stations are locked in on what corporate tells them to set the pumps for every day.

Yep, just down a dime this week, $2.399.

On the rez last week I filled my 100 gallon tank for $1.65. Now the same station is at 1.69.

Gas in SoCal is down to $2.79

Just so wonderful here in demoncrat run CA. Haven't built a new Refinery in 40+yrs. So many taxes and fees, that you spend more money on taxes then you do on gas.

1.59 at the country Shell station today , 1.39 in town at the no brands . Diesel 1.99 @Shell , that makes red fuel for the tractors the same as gas .

Went up $0.12 today. Stock market fell to lower price than before it started to go up. It will be $0.89 by next week

I filled up for $1.15 today. Not completely empty. I don't like to let it get below 1/3 tank.
Strange to fill up for less than a $20 dollar bill.

Empty tank is rally hard on fuel pump.

Yep, my brother told me to not let it get too low. The internal gas pump needs to stay submerged to keep it cool and not overheat.

Price here went from $0.999 to $1.69 this week. Jumped $0.35 just yesterday. They are fleasing the Illinois people that are able to go out. We opened the bars that serve food on the 1st also so I am sure that is factored in as well.

We in Illinois always get a barbed wire enema with such things..gas .prices never went all that low but were raised ASAP. Current gas prices this morning....
