Recovered Bullet

Bullet recovered next to sized bullet and loaded round was one of the 50/50 HT'd SL-71B bullets. I am showing some recovered pc'd bullets that were loaded on a stiff H110 charge. Just about lost the lube and crimp groove. Alloy was 50/50.

Those bullets look pretty good. I like the bearing surface that shows after sizing. The bullet shows a little skid but not bad at all.
I wouldn't mess with the alloy.

Looks like you have a good combination there. I'm really interested in seeing further testing with this bullet.
I might be able to apply some of the same bullet design principles to my shorter cylindered super Blackhawk hunter.

I shoot that same bullet in my SB Hunter as well. No problem with nose length. I need to test some HT'd in it also. It may be more accurate or I can shoot it better.
