Right Bullet for .303 Brit.

Currently i am on a .303 Brit trip.....

A nice Lee Enfield No4 MK 1 followed me home and the first steps are ongoing....

Load:

Lee .312 G/C Bullets drop close at this diameter
12,5 grs Lovex Do36 Pistol Powder
S&B Large Pistol Primers
slightly taper crimped

first results on 50 m and 100m are promising.

after sight correction the last 8 Rounds went into the 10 Circle at 50 m

may you can give me an advise for NOE 216299 or 214198 Bullet
Which one do you prefer

Well done !
I don't have either bullet so I can't speak to those . I've read that the 312299 is THE bullet for US surplus . So that would be my suggestion .

Without thinking I would head for the NOE 314299 or any of Accurates designs that have 314 bases and have a nose around .304 particularly if you got one with both gas check and Plain Base cavities.

That's good shooting for the Lee 312, their base is 312 but their noses are too small for my liking..and despite the good showing you got with those I bet that one with a larger base you could size to .313 and with a larger nose would do even better.

The 315 will work in those but I would get one from Tom (Accurate ) again with a base of at least .314 and a nose of .304.

BTW you didn't say what you are sizing those..and what kind of rifling that particular rifle has...
