Ruger mk3 sight options

Gents, I have a ruger mk3 tapered bbl, fixed sight pinker which is super fun, fits well, and is a great pinker. Looking at joining the local bullseye competition here at my local club, and wanted to find out a few things...

--replacement sight options... have folks ever tried the LPA TPU sights from Italy?? My understanding is that they don't require any front sight replacement...
--anything else I should look at for a replacement rear sight??
--should I even bother with changing it out??

Thanks!

To answer your last question first, "Should I even bother with changing it out?"

The answer is probably, No.

Adjustable sights do not make groups smaller; they simply allow you to move that group around the target relative to the point of aim.

My advice is instead of putting money into a new sight, put that money into practice.
Step one is to find out what ammunition your pistol likes. When you find what type of ammo you pistol shoots best, Step two is to buy as much of that as you can. Use that ammo exclusively to practice and compete with.
If the ammo that produces the smallest group, consistently places that group significantly off the point of aim, then an adjustable sight may be worth looking into.
